Description

James was someone I could always run to, I knew he'd be there for me. He always listened to me when I was going through my dark days... I wanted to be the one that was there for him, always.

I tried to be strong on the day I knew he had to leave me. I wanted to be strong for him, but I just... couldn't. Losing him was too much for me... I felt as though I was not a lot, but I wanted him to have all of me, even as his life was slipping...

He taught me how to love, to receive it and to give back in return. Even though we never made it beyond that step of 'best friends', I know that he loved me and I loved him, and that that love is eternal. I may move on and love another, but James will always be my first love...
